Clearing My FiveM Cache

Don't worry we got you covered! Just follow these steps and you will get to your application data folder!

  • If you have windows 10, your search bar should be in the bottom left of your screen. In that search bar, type in "FiveM" but DO NOT hit enter.
  • If you have windows 11, the above step applies but your search bar will be at the bottom middle of your screen. Type in "FiveM" but DO NOT hit enter.
  • When FiveM appears, you want to look slightly to the right and click on a button that says "Open File Location"; if you do not see this, there should be a down arrow. Simply click that down arrow and the option should appear.
  • Upon clicking "open file location", you should be taken to a page where your FiveM.exe is and FiveM itself should be highlighted. What you want to do is right click that icon, and select "open file location" again.
  • Once you do that, you will see 3 items: FiveM.exe, FiveM - Cfx.re Development Kit (FxDK), & FiveM Application Data
  • Double click the FiveM Application Data and then that's it!

This is a common issue with FiveM and a very solvable issue! Just follow the steps below and things should straighten out for you.

  • Navigate to your FiveM Application Data Folder
  • If you aren't sure how to get to your application data folder follow these steps above
  • Inside your FiveM Application Data folder, you want to double click to enter the "data" folder
  • Inside the data folder simply delete these folders: "cache", "server-cache", "server-cache-priv"
  • Relaunch FiveM and you have successfully cleared your cache
  • DISCLAIMER: You will notice that areas and clothing that had been previously visible is going to be invisible. This is normal since the game has to re-render the objects and textures in the city before you can view them again. Don't panic this is usually a quick process. You may notice slower load in times depending on the specifications of your computer. If you have any issues please feel free to open a ticket in discord and we can further assist you!
